PIMS Inc. was incorporated in 1998 and has evolved into a full-service Medical Billing and Practice Management Services company. PIMS provides comprehensive billing and consulting services for providers of all sizes. In addition, PIMS offers an innovative and robust laboratory information system designed specifically for the anatomic pathology practice in mind.

Headquartered in our state-of-the-art 23,000 square-foot facility in Tampa, Florida, PIMS is led by a senior management team with many years of diversified medical billing and healthcare revenue cycle management experience. With 100+ highly trained employees, we have you covered.

    Leadership


    Suzanne Pyzik, CPA

    Chief Financial Officer


    Suzanne has over 30 years of experience in accounting, with the last 15 years concentrated in the Healthcare Industry. She received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of South Florida and has been a licensed CPA in Florida since 1990. Her experience not only includes financial accounting and reporting, but also risk assessment and internal control evaluation, project management, process improvement and strategic planning. Suzanne is responsible for all Finance Department functions, including the review and distribution of the monthly financials, accounts payable and payroll processing, and treasury oversight. She prides herself on her ability to create cohesive teams and identify/implement process enhancements. When away from the office, Suzanne enjoys traveling and attending sporting events and concerts.

     

     

    Jenny Hareza, CHC

    Director of Operations


    Jenny has served PIMS in a multitude of varying capacities for over a decade. Her diverse experience within the organization armed her with knowledge of all facets of PIMS’ Operations. Jenny is an active member of The Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics and is Professionally Certified in Healthcare Compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association. She takes pleasure in translating complex laws and regulations into manageable billing rules, policies and procedures for PIMS’ valued clients and partners. When away from the office she enjoys traveling and keeping up with foreign and domestic current events.


    Kim Palma

    Revenue Cycle Manager


    With greater than thirty years’ experience in the medical insurance and healthcare billing industries, Kim manages all aspects of Revenue Cycle, client reporting and analysis for PIMS’ clients. Collaborating frequently with clients, she consistently develops personalized strategies to best address payor contracting, denial and underpayment issues to ensure the highest level of reimbursement is obtained. Kim fosters a family-like culture within her department and routinely touts the accomplishments of her tenured and dedicated staff as a secret to PIMS’ continued success!

     

     

    Kelly Cashman

    Coding Manager


    As a proud and active member of the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC), Kelly possesses over thirty years of experience in the coding, billing, and management of physician medical practices. Specializing in anatomic pathology coding, she is most passionate about educating future coders, physicians, and other client-partners in the proper coding for their respective practice. On a more personal note, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, participating in wellness initiatives, and advocating for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society within PIMS and the greater Tampa Bay community.


    Daniela Cojita, JM, SHRM-SCP

    Director Human Resources


    PIMS’ successes over the years are attributed to the excellent talent among its team members. Daniela’s exposure to the practical aspects of billing during her lengthy tenure at PIMS provided her with a solid understanding of practice management and the important role of the revenue cycle team in supporting the daily operations of practices . The HR|Administrative department plays an important role in creating a culture that fosters and grows this talent which directly contributes to an elevated service delivery to our clients. Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management and Administration and a Juris Master degree in Employment Law and HR Risk Management. She is an HR Tampa Board of Directors’ member and is actively involved in the community through the programs offered by this organization.

     

     

    Sapna Shah, M.S., CA

    Director of Accounting


    Sapna holds a master’s degree in forensic accounting and received her Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in taxation. With nearly a decade’s experience in finance, she is involved in all facets of the Finance Department including the preparation of monthly financials and other reporting functions for strategic analysis. When not working with numbers and spreadsheets, Sapna enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
