PIMS at CAP ‘06

In September of 2006, PIMS had the honor of serving as the Bronze Sponsor of the College of American Pathology’s CAP ‘06 Annual meeting, which was held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California. At this conference, PIMS greatly enjoyed the opportunity to network with CAP members and constituents regarding a variety of payor initiatives and strategies directly impacting Pathologists, including such items as the upcoming “Pathology in Crisis” meeting to be held October 14th in Orlando, FL, which includes guest speakers Jane Pine Wood, Esq., McDonald Hopkins & Co., L.P.A., speaking about “Legal Discussions of Current Pathology Threats,” and Mario Gonzalez, M.D., St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark, N.J., and Immediate Past President of the Florida Society of Pathologists, speaking on the ever-important topic of “How to Bill for Clinical Pathology.”

PIMS at the RBMA

In June 2005, PIMS was an exhibitor at the RBMA Summit (Radiology Business Management
Association), which was held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. At this conference PIMS was honored to host and decorate a table for the incoming RBMA President Mr. Patrick Epting, and outgoing RBMA President Ms. Cynthia Waystack.
